FUN FRIDAY FIGHT! – Who Would Win?

FUN FRIDAY FIGHT!

So, last week my brother and I sat down to watch the highly anticipated UFC 116 a pay-per-view fight with the main event deciding the Heavy Weight Champion between Brock Lesnar and Shane Carwin. Both men were 265 lbs BEASTS ready to pummel each other that night!

My brother and I watched with excitement, fear, and a little trembling as the sheer strength and athleticism of these two men came crashing together at full force. I mean, I’m pretty sure if BP employed these guys, they could just punch that little oil leak closed in the Gulf.  For you non-UFC fans out there, just imagine watching The Hulk fight The Thing from the Fantastic Four:

Now, I wanna ask you to weigh in on some pretty hot match-ups. Who would you call winning a fight if these contenders pictured below went toe to toe?

Count Chocula vs. The Count (Sesame Street)

Edward vs Jacob

James Bond vs Jason Bourne

Mr. T (old B.A. Baracus) vs Quinton ”Rampage” Jackson (new B.A. Baracus)

 Captain Crunch vs Captain Morgan

Now, don’t be shy. Let your opinion be heard! I wanna know who you think could put on the strongest show of fisticuffs and why!

Responses

  1. 1. There’s a reason he’s THE Count. He owns that street.

    2. Harry Potter.

    3. I want to go with Bond here simply because he’s so classy (and my personal favorite). However, I feel that the only Bond robust enough to go toe-to-toe with Jason Bourne is the Daniel Craig iteration of Bond. Connery too often employed the judo-chop, Lazenby only appeared once, Moore was too much of a smooth-talker, Dalton would have possibly empathized with Bourne’s problems and became his ally, and Brosnan was too pretty.

    4. Mr. T.

    5. Captain Morgan. Just look at that stance.

    • Ooooo…I like the Bond(s) analysis, Cameron.

  2. The count for the first one, because he’s been around a while.
Jacob for second, because Edward is a 150 year old creepy stalker man and Jacob is epic.
Bourne for third because well… he’s the underdog, and I like that.
    Mr. T.
and then… Captain Morgan, because he’d be a rock’n'roll sort of fighter.
    :)

    • Gotta say for being a senior citizen, Edward has some great hair.

But why the Mr. T vote? Again, folks, Quinton Jackson fights people -for real-for a living!

  3. 1. The Count for sure…he has the great laugh…who could stand up to that? 1, ha 2, ha ha, 3 ha ha ha

    2. This one is tough…if we’re talking about the books then I’d go with Edward, but if we’re talking movie then Jacob…have you seen those muscles!?!?

    3. Bond…James Bond

    4. Jackson for sure…the new movie was sooo good!

    5. Captain Morgan, he’ll charm you with his magic concoctions…

  4. 1. The Count…he’s just legendary
    2. Umm…is there a third (better) choice?
    3. James Bond, obviously
    4. Mr. T because you just can’t get any better than him
    5. Captain Crunch…he’s so hopped up on the sugar he could keep going for a while

  5. 1. The Count — He’s from the streets….Sesame Street!!!!
    2. Who cares
    3. Jason Bourne
    4. Rampage — No contest
    5. Captain Morgan — He has a sword and guns.

    • I like your thoughts on the Edward vs. Jacob match, Kasey.

  6. I disagree about Mr. T. He beat cancer. What’s left after that?

  7. That’s easy.

    1. Count Chocula – hands down
    2. Anybody who has NOT watched Twilight
    3. Jason Bourne
    4. Mr. T
    5. Captain Cruch (Captain Morgan would pass out)

But who would win this one?
    Ditka vs. Everybody

    • Bryan,
You’ve got some strong picks here. I especially like your insight on the Edward vs. Jacob card.

However, I have to say Mr. T is well past his prime. Quinton Jackson is a truly bad dude…he fights in the UFC for a living. I don’t care how many gold chains you can carry around your neck. You can’t stand up against that! I say Quinton Jackson knocks out Mr. T any day.

  8. Count choula, Jacob, Jason Bourne, Mr. T and Captain Cruch would dominate there opponents and the Hulk would beat the thing from the fantastic four. So there u go Mr. Aaron Shaver

    • Ahhh. But what about Ditka? :-)

    • Yeah JD,
I think you’re spont on with Hulk vs Thing. I fact I think that fight has happened a few times …and well, “HULK SMASH!”

However, I’m really interested to hear your reasoning behind the Edward vs. Jacob fight. What’s that about?
